Notification Manager Overview
The Notification Manager provides your organization with a means to send notifications to predefined users within New World ERP when an event in the system occurs. Notifications can be sent via email and users can receive them on the New World ERP home page in the myNotifications panel.
Notifications in New World ERP are based on user-defined rules. The rules are made up of events and criteria. Events are actions that occur in the system, such as the addition of a vendor change request or the modification of a work order. Criteria define the conditions under which the rule is met. For example, a rule can be set up to notify users when a receipt of goods item is added (event) and assigned to the water department (criteria). When multiple criteria are defined for a rule, all criteria must be met for the rule to run.
When rules are run, they send notifications to all New World ERP users, employees, and email addresses that are defined in the rule. New World ERP users can also have notifications emailed to them by changing their Email Notification setting on the home page.
